Welcome to The Yoo Zoo – a working hobby farm in Ontario, Canada focused on ethically raised animals, practical sustainability, and rural experiences. Over time, we’ve expanded into a multi-purpose farm that balances livestock, land use, and sustainability. We offer a wide variety of animals, including alpacas, pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, quail, and more!
The Yoo Zoo Places at OPB 2025!
Several of our birds received awards in the highly competitive Ontario Poultry Breeders APA/ABA National Show 2025! Over 2400 birds shown by 142 exhibitors from 7 provinces and 8 U.S. states attended the show!
We received:
Best of Breed – Welsh Harlequin young drake
Reserve of Breed – Welsh Harlequin old hen
Best of Breed & Jr Champion Light Duck – White Indian Runner old drake
In addition, multiple of our white Call ducks placed in the top 10% of their class.
All these birds were proudly bred on our farm and hopefully will continue to win for many years to come!
Our Story
The Yoo Zoo started with a straightforward goal — to raise healthy animals in a natural, respectful setting and create space to share that lifestyle with others. What began with a few poultry pens has since grown into a diverse farm that now includes:
